| The St. Leonard Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company recently received a new Forcible Entry Simulator, a critical training tool designed to prepare firefighters for real-world emergencies. This specialized equipment allows members to practice the proper deployment of tools needed to open locked or obstructed doors during suppression and rescue operations.
During a recent company drill, both Staff and Cadets had the opportunity to train on the new simulator under the direction of Captain Bill Terry, gaining valuable hands-on experience. The training enhanced members’ proficiency in forcible entry techniques, ensuring they are better prepared to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
This addition to the department’s training program reinforces the Company’s commitment to firefighter readiness, safety, and service to the community.
