On January 17, 2021, just before 4 p.m., St Leonard Volunteers along with other county companies were alerted to a house on fire in the 2-18 box (Co2). Engine 7-2 (Sgt. Irons) as the 3rd due engine company and Tanker 7 (FF. Coombs) responded. First Arriving Engine 21 arrived on location of a single-story single family with fire showing from the attached garage portion of the home on side A with extension into the living area of the home. Engine 7-2 arrived as dispatched (3rd due) and was assigned as the draft engine. Engine 7-2 supplied water from portable draft tanks for just short of 2 hours before returning to service.
