On August 10th, 2017 at approximately 1538 hours, the St. Leonard Volunteers were alerted to St. Leonard Road in the area of Western Shores Boulevard for the report of a serious auto accident. Immediately Chief 7, Chief 7B, Lieutenant 7, Squad 7, and Ambulance 78 responded. While en route the control center updated units that it was going to be a multi vehicle accident with rollover and power lines down. Lieutenant 7 arrived on location first to find the same with no entrapment and all occupants refusing medical treatment and transport. Ambulance 78 handled multiple patient refusals while Squad 7 handled clean-up. Co.7 units operated for approximately two hours assisting SMECO and the tow companies. Chief 7 held the "St. Leonard Road" Command.
