August 17, 2015

St. Leonard Volunteer Fire and Rescue has taken delivery of the new Pierce Tanker. The Tanker sits on a 2015 Peterbilt 367 6x4 chassis. Tanker 7 features a 3,200-Gallon capacity water tank served by a 1,000 gpm single-stage Hale QPAK midmount pump. The apparatus is equipped with two 2,500-Gallon aluminum-framed portable folding tanks that are stored within two Zico hydraulically-activated racks. The portable drop tanks can be filled via a 12-inch dump valve on the rear of the unit, or by one the two 10-inch dump valves located on either side of the apparatus.
