On November 22nd, 2018 at approximately 1400 hours , the St. Leonard Volunteers were alerted to 11641 Big Bear Lane for the kitchen fire. Engine 71, Rescue Squad 7, and Tanker 7 responded. While en route the Calvert Control Center advised they were now receiving multiple calls that the structure was "well-involved". First arriving units from Solomon's VRSFD arrived on location of a one story residence with fire showing. Engine 71 assisted Co.3 units with extinguishment of the fire while Rescue Squad 7 performed a search and opened up the structure for the Engine Companies. St. Leonard units operated for approximately two hours before clearing the fire ground.
