By Captain Thomas Buckmaster
November 29, 2015

On November 29th, 2015 at approximately 1732 hours, the St. Leonard Volunteers were alerted to the unconscious subject on Long Cove Lane. The Chief, Engine 72, and Ambulance 79 immediately responded with approximately 10 volunteers. While enroute, units were updated that it was now a cardiac arrest and CPR instructions were being given. Units then arrived on scene moments later to find a female in cardiac arrest. Crew members immediately took over CPR and were able to get ROSC (Return Of Spontaneous Circulation) on the scene. The patient was then transported priority 1 to CMH and was later transferred to Washington Hospital Center where she is listed in stable condition. Excellent job to the St. Leonard Volunteers.
