Fire department members participated in a Back to Basics training session tonight, focusing on preparing for Front Seat responsibilities. Deputy Chief J. Schooley, Assistant Chief V. DeVries, Safety Officer M. Richman, Deputy Chief M. Weems, and Operations Captain B. Terry led the group through exercises covering radio communications, scene size-up, accountability protocols, and evacuation procedures. The session also included hands-on practice with hose deployment, water flow, and drafting operations.
