| On Saturday morning at 11:12, Engine 72, Tanker 7, Squad 7, Rehab 7, and Ambulance 78 were alerted to a house fire in the 707 area. Chief 2B was first on scene and initially reported no visible signs of fire. After inspecting the property, fire was discovered on the second floor. Engine 71 quickly stretched a hose line and located a fire in one room of the quadrant A, extinguishing it promptly. Engine 22 prepared a backup line to division 1 and remained ready for further action. Tower 2 arrived, assisted in opening portions of the structure, and conducted a primary search. Squad 7 completed secondary searches, both of which found no additional hazards, and helped with additional opening tasks. Incident command was managed by Safety7A (Cunningham) with assistance from Safety 7 (Richman) at the command post. |
