St. Leonard VFD Brings Home Two Trophies from Deale Parade

Deale, MD – The St. Leonard Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company proudly returned from the Deale Volunteer Fire Department Parade on Saturday with two top honors:

* 2nd Best Appearing Company Overall
* Best Appearing Heavy Rescue Squad.

The parade, a long-standing tradition in the region’s fire service community, brought together departments from several Maryland Counties to showcase their apparatus, professionalism, and community pride. For St. Leonard, these awards reflect not only the gleaming condition of thei equipment but also the dedication, discipline, and teamwork of the members who represent the department.

“The time and effort taken to achieve these awards are tremendous,” Lt. Will Schooley said. “It’s a testament to the embodiment of the Volunteer Service and countless hours spent maintaining our apparatus, preparing our crews, and representing our community with pride.”
