Ocean City, MD – June 2025

This past week, the 133rd Annual MSFA Conference & Convention brought together Maryland’s bravest and most dedicated from across the state and what an incredible time it was! From the sunny boardwalks of Ocean City to the energized halls of the convention center, the event was filled with inspiration, camaraderie, and pride.

All Delegates from St. Leonard VFD were in attendance, and represented our department with enthusiasm and professionalism. They participated in professional development courses and key meetings, including the SMVFA Caucus, where important topics shaping the future of fire service in our state were discussed. Their commitment and presence made a difference.

Perhaps most rewarding was seeing several of our Members take the next step in their professional journey by earning Pro-Boarded Certifications, a true testament to their hard work, dedication, and experience.

Beyond the meetings and certifications, the true joy came from reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, sharing stories, and celebrating the spirit of service that unites us all. Laughter echoed, knowledge was shared, and memories were made.
