St. Leonard Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co. 7 Wins Prestigious Parade Honors at Potomac River Festival.

Chief Ricky Weems is proud to announce the outstanding accomplishments of its members during the Annual Potomac River Festival Parade held in Colonial Beach. The department proudly brought home multiple prestigious honors for apparatus appearance and presentation:

• Best Appearing Fire Boat
• Best Appearing Rehabilitation/Mass Casualty Unit
• 2nd Best Appearing Brush Truck

These awards are a testament to the dedication, pride, and professionalism of the crew who represented Company 7 with excellence: Lt. Weems, Lt. Schooley, Sgt. Benton, FF/Pilot Bennett, and P. Radisch.

From meticulous preparation and vehicle detailing to uniform presentation and parade coordination, the team went above and beyond to showcase the department’s commitment to quality and pride in service. Their efforts were recognized among numerous regional fire and rescue companies in attendance at one of the area’s most celebrated community events.
