Mackall Road RV Fire

On September 8th, 2015 at approximately 1324 hours the St. Leonard Volunteers were alerted for the RV Fire threatening a residence at 5325 Mackall Road. Engine 71 (EMS Lt. Culbert), Engine 72 (Capt. Buckmaster), Squad 7 (S.O Bauer), Brush 7 (J. Harris), Ambulance 79 (EMS Capt. Weems), and Command 7 (J. Anderson) immediately responded with approximately 15 personnel. Engine 71 arrived on scene first to find a Winnebago and a Dually Truck attached to a fifth wheel camper involved with fire threatening a 20x40 shed. Engine 71 with the assistance of Engine 21 deployed multiple hand lines and quickly knocked down the fire. Command then held it with Co.7 and Co.2 units only to check for extension and await the arrival of the Fire Marshall. Crews from St. Leonard operated on the scene until 1443 hours.
