On Friday 15 March at approximately 14:40, St. Leonard and surrounding companies were dispatched to the area of Calvert Beach Road and Garrison St for a serious auto accident with the vehicle reported on fire.

Engine 72, Ambulance 77, Chief 7A and Safety Officer 7 responded and found a single vehicle that had hit a pole and upside down in a front yard, with no fire. The crew from Engine 72 stabilized the vehicle and assisted the single occupant out of the vehicle through the passenger side window.

A77 transported the patient by ground to Capital Region. E72 secured the vehicle and stood by until SMECO could arrive and secure electrical lines.
