On Sunday, August 15th, 2021 at approximately 2010 hours, the St. Leonard Volunteers were alerted to St. Leonard Road in the area of Carlyle Court for the serious auto accident. Promptly, Chief 7B, Lieutenant 7, Engine 72, and Ambulance 78 responded. Lieutenant 7 arrived on scene first to find a single vehicle off the roadway with one occupant trapped and established the "St. Leonard Road Command". Engine 72 with assistance from Rescue Squad 2 extricated the patient within 12 minutes, the patient was subsequently transported to a local trauma center via MSP Trooper 7.
