On Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at approximately 0242 hours, the St. Leonard Volunteers were alerted to Elm Road in the area of Fern Circle for the single vehicle auto accident. Promptly, Chief 7A, Chief 7B, Squad 7, and Ambulance 79 responded. Squad 7 then arrived to find a single vehicle into a tree with one occupant trapped. Squad 7 performed a side wall removal on the driver side of the vehicle to extricate the occupant. Ultimately aviation was requested and the single occupant was transported via Trooper 7 to a local trauma center. Company 7 units operated for approximately one hour before returning.
