House Fire in St. Leonard Ruled Arson by Fire Marshal |

On Monday , May 27,2019 at approximately 10:23 p.m. St. Leonard CO7 responded to a working house fire at 2595 Lloyd Bowen Rd in their first due area. Safety7A was first to arrive on location with a single family dwelling with a working fire in the front half of the house. Safety7A establish the 701 command. Captain 7 had the Interior Operations working with the engine crews from St. Leonard and Prince Frederick while they made an aggressive attack on the fire. While investigating the rear of the structure Command found a vehicle still running and crashed thought the back wall of a MiG shift garage with no occupants in the vehicle. Chief 7 and Safety 7 investigated a 25’ pull behind camper and found a working fire inside. Crews extinguished the two fires in approximately 40 minutes. The Office of The Maryland State Fire Marshal responded to the scene to investigate the cause of the fires and determined that they were to be in incendiary in nature. |
