On Saturday, July 7th, 2018 at approximately 1643 hours, the St. Leonard Volunteers were alerted to the 3000 block of Ross Road for the serious auto accident. Chief 7A, Chief 7C, Safety 7, Squad 7, Engine 72, Ambulance 77, and Ambulance 79 responded. Safety 7 arrived to find a single vehicle off the roadway with three subjects trapped and established the "Ross Road" command. Squad 7 with the assistance of Squad 2 worked diligently together to safely extricate all three occupants from the vehicle while Engine 72 established a landing site. Ultimately all three patients were transported and transferred to Trooper 7 and Eagle 1 who then transported all three patients to a local trauma center. St. Leonard units operated for approximately two hours. |
