The St. Leonard Volunteer Fire Department is excited to announce that we were notified today that we are receiving a grant from the Dominion Energy Foundation in the award of $10,000.

This award will go to the purchase of replacement AED's for some of our apparatus. In detail the replacement AED's will be LIFEPAK 1000 Defibrillators which is an easy to use automated external defibrillator (AED) designed for professional responders. A large, intuitive screen displays graphics and ECG readings that are clear and easy to read. The 1000 also features a cprMAX Technology which minimizes CPR interruptions by allowing compressions to continue during AED charging.

We would like to personally thank the Dominion Energy Foundation for this award and their continued support to the Public Safety community.
