By Deputy Chief - Fire Thomas Buckmaster
July 26, 2017

On July 26th, 2017 at approximately 1546 hours, the St. Leonard Volunteers were dispatched to Hellen Creek Drive for the Marina Fire. Chief 7C, Safety 7A, and Engine 72 immediately responded. While en-route units were updated that the corrected location was the 1300 block of Tongue Cove Drive and that they were now getting multiple calls that there was a boat on fire threatening a pier. Safety 7A then arrived on location and provided an update that it was an approximate 40 foot boat fully involved and established command assigning Chief 7B with operations. Co.7 units then assisted Co.3 units with extinguishment and overhaul of the vessel. Co.7 units cleared two hours later.

Units: Chief 7C, Safety 7A, Engine 72
