On January 25, at approximately 07:28, Company 7 was alerted to the reported house fire on Parkers Creek Spur. Engine 72, Squad 7 , Tanker 7, and Safety 7 responded. Engine 72 arrived with Engine 22 to a single-family rambler with smoke showing. Crews entered the residence and encountered a kitchen fire. The homeowner was alerted by the activation of the smoke detectors in the residence and observed smoke and fire in the kitchen area. The fire was quickly knocked and contained to the kitchen. Crews cleared the scene at 08:18, operating for under an hour.
