By Assistant Chief Thomas Buckmaster
January 11, 2019

On January 11th, 2019 at approximately 1653 hours, the St. Leonard Volunteers were alerted to the 500 block of Antelope Trail for the possible aircraft crash. Chief 7A, Engine 71, Squad 7, Mass Casualty 7, Brush 7, and Ambulance 79 responded. First arriving units from Solomons VRSFD confirmed it was not an aircraft crash and found a Recreational Vehicle and a 500 gallon propane tank on fire down an embankment. Company 7 units then arrived shortly after and assisted Company 3 units with extinguishment and overhaul of the recreational vehicle and surrounding area of woods. Company 7 units operated for approximately two hours.
